EXCLUSIVE: Saif Ali Khan refuses to promote ‘Laal Kaptaan’?

Saif Ali Khan is currently gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Laal Kaptaan’. The actor is playing the role of Naga Sadhu in the revenge drama. The trailers, posters and BTS pictures and videos of the movie have increased the excitement level among the audiences.

The movie is releasing this Friday i.e on October 18, but we have not seen Saif promoting the movie as much as a star does to promote his/her movie. Our source informed us that Saif refused to promote the film after a point because the Censors did a lot of drama. “The trailer has not been able to be attached to any film in theatres because the Censors claimed that this is not how Naga sadhus behave. So Saif has been upset with the constant change in plans and the delays. He did a few interviews and told them he won’t be available anymore.”

Saif preponed shoot for Ali Abbas Zafar produced web series ‘Tandav’ where he plays a political player with grey shades.

The trailer of ‘Laal Kaptaan’ was released in three parts and it shows Saif in a fierce and feisty look. Apart from Saif Ali Khan, the movie also has Manav Vij, Sonakshi Sinha, Zoya Hussain, and Deepak Dobriyal among others. The movie is produced by Eros International and Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and directed by Navdeep Singh.
