Saif Ali Khan on Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide: Terrible that he felt that this was the way out

Saif Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput had worked recently in ‘Del Bechara’, which is a remake of ‘The Fault In Our Stars’. The film is ready fully but is yet to release, and the Coronavirus pandemic all over the world. Now there are reports that the film has been bought on by Disney + Hotstar and will be releasing on the OTT platform soon. Having worked with SSR recently, Saif indeed has a lot in his heart about the actor.

When asked about the sudden demise, Saif said, “He was way too young with talent and intelligence and a whole life ahead. Terrible that he felt that this was the way out. Very very sad.”

A little while earlier, Kareena Kapoor also took to social media to share her condolences for Sushant and the family. She had put forth a joint statement from her and Saif. It read as, “This is such terrible news…Praying that you find peace Sushant… Strength to his family.. Saif & Kareena (sic).”

Indeed it is a terrible piece of news. We are still recuperating from the terrible loss we have witnessed earlier today. Sushant’s family is at the moment on their way to Mumbai in order to pay their last respects.

May his soul rest in peace.
