Saif Ali Khan undergoes tricep surgery during action sequence in Devara, confirms rep

On Monday, reports suggested that actor Saif Ali Khan was rushed to hospital after he suffered injuries during the shoot. Reportedly, Saif fractured his knee and shoulder while he was shooting for his upcoming movie Devara. Now, his representatives confirmed that he underwent tricep surgery for an old surgery.

Khan recently underwent tricep surgery for an old injury that got triggered while performing an action sequence for his latest movie. He is now well on his way to making a speedy recovery. Saif Ali Khan said, “This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern.”

Saif is all set to play Bhaira opposite Jr NTR in Devara. He had shared his excitement for the film in a statement earlier. He said, “Well I’m super excited! It’s new territory but also familiar. The set is efficient and well organized and people are just really polite and kind. I’m having a lovely time. It’s a very cool role and I’m working hard to make sure I deliver more than what is expected of me. Siva is a passionate artist with infectious energy and a great vision. He narrated to me for three hours and I was emotionally involved all the way. Jr NTR is very friendly, charming, and super passionate also!“

Devara also stars Janhvi Kapoor and this will be her South debut.
