Saif Ali Khan would love to act in Mahabharata, says, ‘I’ve been talking about it with Ajay Devgn’

Saif Ali Khan is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood. Saif made his acting debut in Parampara and later went on to star in films like Yeh Dillagi, Kachche Dhaage, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Kya Kehna, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Salaam Namaste, and Tanhaji among others.

Saif recently delivered a terrific performance as a cop in Vikram Vedha. The actor played the role of Vikram opposite Hrithik Roshan and absolutely nailed it. In a recent group interview, Saif spilled the beans on the role he aspires to do in the future.

The actor said, “What I’d like to play is act in the Mahabharata if someone makes it like Lord of the Rings. We’ve been talking about it with Ajay Devgn since Kachche Dhaage. I think in our generation it’s the dream subject. Everybody wants to do that. We will get the Bombay film industry together with the South or whatever if that’s even possible and just make this grand movie.”

Coming back to Saif’s latest release, it stars Hrithik as a gangster (Vedha) and Radhika Apte. The film was released in theatres on 30 September, 2022. The film opened to positive responses from the audiences.

During the interaction, Saif Ali Khan also opened up on working in multi-starrer movies. He also talked about working with Hrithik Roshan in Vikram Vedha after a decade.

On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan will be next seen in Adipurush. He plays the role of Raavan in the film. Saif will be seen sharing screen space with Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage. Adipurush will release on 12 January, 2023.
