Saif Ali Khan wrote a letter for his ex-wife Amrita Singh and made Kareena read it!

The dynamic father-daughter duo Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan appeared on the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan 6’ hosted by Karan Johar. The show was a treat for the audience as it was full of fun and entertainment. Also, Saif talked about his equation with his former wife Amrita Singh and how they are cordial even after parting ways. Even Sara said that she is happy to see her parents happy. She said that everyone from Saif, Kareena to Amrita are happy and they make a happy modern family.

We all know that Saif got married to Amrita Singh in 1991 and in 2004, they separated. In the episode, Saif revealed that he wrote a letter to Amrita on the day of his wedding. He also said that he made Kareena read it before sending it across. “When I was getting married to Kareena, I wrote a note to Amrita saying this is a new chapter I am starting. I wrote that we had a history and asked for something on the lines of good wishes for both of us,” he said. Saif added saying that he made Kareena read the letter before sending it to his ex-wife.

Adding to this, Sara said that her mother Amrita Singh dressed her up for Saif and Kareena’s wedding. She said, “My mom dressed me for my father’s wedding. A lot of people would be of the opinion that Kareena was being weird or mom was being weird. It was very comfortable. Everyone was so mature. It was not a big deal.”
