Recently, Saif Ali Khan suffered an injury on his thumb on the sets of his upcoming film and hence, he had to undergo a surgery. As the name suggest, Saif is all set to play a role of a chef in this film and filming of the same was set to begin next month. But reports had it that it has been postponed.
Now the producer of the film Vikram Malhotra has come out in the open and rubbished all these reports. Stating that ‘Chef’ is on schedule, Vikram said, “‘Chef’ was never scheduled to begin now. The film was always scheduled to commence shooting from October 1. So there is no question of a delay.”
He further added, “We selected October 1 as the start date since we will commence shooting in South India, and by that time the monsoons will have receded. Besides if you have seen the original there is a lot of travelling around the country and the ‘Chef’ remake as well will see Saif travelling from city to city. Essentially we are currently in recce stages since we have to finalize six to seven cities that will feature in the film.”
Hmm… this film really sounds interesting!
