Actor Saif Ali Khan – who was brutally stabbed several times while during a home robbery attempting to keep his kids safe, was discharged yesterday, January 21, from the Lilavati Hospital after undergoing two surgeries. Now, the actor’s sister, Saba Pataudi has taken to social media to praise the female staff who showed their brave side on the day of the attack.

Hours ago, Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Pataudi took to her Instagram tories to share a collage of pictures with their two female staff members. In the first picture, we see Saba posing with Jeh’s nanny while the other pic features another female staff member who allegedly helped Saif tackle the robber.
She captioned the pics, “The unsung heroes…who literally pulled their weight when it mattered the most! Bless you both m ALL those who contributed in keeping my brother n his family safe!You are the BEST!” Saba also added a text GIF that read, “you are our HERO!” Check out the post here:
Saif Ali Khan Attack
For those who don’t know, on Thursday, January 16, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times with a knife by a robber who entered his Bandra apartment during the wee hours. Jeh’s nanny, Eliyamma Philip was apparently the first to spot the intruder and raise an alarm. When she attempted to confront him, the burglar assaulted her and then attacked both Saif when he intervened.
In the ensuring confrontation, Saif was stabbed several times and rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his sons in an autorickshaw around 2:30 am. There, the actor underwent two surgeries, including one for the removal of a 2.5-inch-long blade. The Mumbai Police have now arrested the attacker, Bangladeshi resident Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad (30) and sent him to five-day police custody.
