Saira Banu unwell; Dilip Kumar’s wife diagnosed with pneumonia – Report

As per recent reports, Saira Banu, the widow of late acting icon Dilip Kumar, is currently unwell. The veteran actress has been diagnosed with pneumonia. She is also dealing with two clots in her calf, making it difficult for her to move around her home.

Senior journalist Vicky Lalwani shared on his Instagram Stories that Saira has been experiencing health issues for several days. And it was noted that she was hospitalized in October 2024 due to a severe episode of pneumonia.

According to Times Now, the condition of Saira Banu is troubling. And the news of her health struggles is disheartening for her fans and admirers. Known for her unwavering love for Dilip Kumar, Saira has often spoken about the emotional toll of his passing in 2021. This seems to have contributed to her declining health. On behalf of her supporters, we extend our heartfelt wishes for her speedy recovery.

Last December, on what would have been Dilip’s 101st birthday, Saira reminisced about their celebrations together. She shared nostalgic videos from past festivities and penned a touching tribute. It read, “Once more it is December the 11th. The day of days when the skies are blue with a smattering of dreams like puffy white clouds that seem to be dancing in the skies with happiness and exaltation. The whole house used to be flooded with so many flowers that it seemed as though we had stepped into the Garden of Eden.” Saira and Dilip were married on October 11, 1966. Dilip Kumar also had a brief marriage with Asma Rehmaan, but they divorced two years later. Dilip Kumar passed away on July 7, 2021.
