Sajid Khan is back with ‘Housefull 4’, film to release on Diwali 2019

The popular comic franchise ‘Housefull’, which has had three instalments so far, is soon going to tickle us with its fourth part. How do we know? Well, the makers have made the big announcement on Twitter. And this is not the only big news. The original brain behind the concept, Sajid Khan, is returning as the director of this fourth part, and the makers have shared the same as well. The filmmaker wasn’t a part of the third part allegedly due to some differences with the producer. But now he is back to helm the fourth instalment of the hit franchise. We will see the trio of Akshay Kumar, Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala reunite with this project.

As the picture suggests, this time, the theme of the movie is a love story with a backdrop of reincarnation. Quite interesting.

Now that the movie has already locked the Diwali period for 2019, it could very well be a solo release. The first part which released in 2010 starred Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez. The year 2012 saw the release of the second part which featured Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Zarine Khan and Shreyas Talpade, whereas the third part which released last year starred Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon, Nargis Fakhri. It seems the fourth part will also have some familiar, some new faces. We are particularly excited to know who will be cast as the leading females.
