Salim Khan on Shabana Azmi’s health: Javed Akhtar told me she is talking and very much in senses 

On January 18, veteran actress of Bollywood, Shabana Azmi got severely injured in an unfortunate moment when her car rammed into a truck near Mumbai Pune Expressway. Husband, Javed Akhtar was also present with her during the time of the accident, but luckily he managed to escape the injury. As the pictures and the videos from the accident spot went viral last night, several B-town celebs started wishing for Shabana’s speedy recovery. Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan gave a health update on Shabana.

When SpotboyE asked Salim Khan about Shabana Azmi’s health, he said that he spoke to his friend Javed Akhtar. Salim Khan told the portal, “Javed told me that there is no internal damage. She is talking and very much in senses.” 

Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan who share a warm bond of friendship, are often spotted being with each in happy and tough times.

While much is not confirmed officially, the doctors from the MGM hospital have stated that she had no injuries on her neck and the nose. Apparently, she would be undergoing a CT Scan and USGO(Ultrasonography).

Azmi was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital after initial treatment at MGM Hospital in Navi Mumbai. Her family is right by her side from last evening. Farhan Akhtar, Tabu, Shibani Dandekar and Anil Kapoor, including several B-town celebs, were spotted rushing to the hospital to check her well being.
