Ali Abbas Zafar directorial ‘Bharat’ has kept the cash registers ringing at the box office. The film, which opened to mostly positive reviews, has been lauded for its emotional moments. Especially those which showed how the India-Pakistan partition of 1947 affected people on both sides of the border.
The film’s emotional quotient and Bharat’s turmoil is what has been loved by the viewers the most. A major part of the film is based on the India-Pakistan partition and how Bharat struggles to keep his family together. Last night, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif hosted a special screening of their film for the families who have actually experienced the events of 1947 partition.
Both Salman and Katrina not only interacted with all the people but even posed for pictures with them. It was a very pleasant sight to see them all share anecdotes and smiles.
