Salman Khan agreed for cameo in GodFather without listening to the script, reveals Chiranjeevi

Salman Khan makes a cameo in Chiranjeevi starrer GodFather. Chiranjeevi recently opened up about Salman’s cameo and shared how he came onboard without listening to the script of the film. The actor also revealed that Bhaijaan turned down any money for his cameo.

Chiranjeevi told Film Companion that he had sent a message to Salman, who replied to him, “Yeah, yeah Chiru garu, what do you want?” He added, “I told him it’s a small character but very respectable, and you can watch Lucifer in case you want”. He said, ‘No, no Chiru garu, I am doing it. Just send your person, we will discuss dates and everything.’ Withing 2-3 minutes he agreed.” For the uninitiated, GodFather is a remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer starring Mohanlal.

Chiranjeevi went on to reveal that his son, actor Ram Charan met Salman Khan to discuss the same. To him, Salman said, “Charan, you are my brother. Definitely, I want to do it. I need not see Lucifer. Just send a person to narrate my character.”

The actor refused to accept any fees for his role in GodFather. Talking about the same, Chiranjeevi said, “When my producers went to him and offered him some amount, not knowing how much it was, he said, ‘You cannot buy my love towards Ram and Chiranjeevi garu with money. Get lost.’”

GodFather trailer released on Friday and received a great response. Lady Superstar Nayanthara is also a part of the film. It will be released on October 5.

On the other hand, Salman has Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. The actor also has Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
