Tiger 3 song Ruaan out! Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer romantic ballad is soulful and magical

The Salman Khan-fronted action thriller Tiger 3 is just six days away from its grand release. While the teaser, trailer, and song Leke Prabhu Ka Naam have got us excited for the movie, the makers have built anticipation by unveiling the second track titled Ruaan. But there is a twist! Yash Raj Films has always believed in building secrecy around the YRF Spy Universe For Tiger 3, Aditya Chopra has decided that he will hold back the release of its second song Ruaan to protect a major plot point of the film from coming out.

The makers have shared the lyrical video of song Ruaan. The romantic and emotional track is sung by one of the greatest singers of our generation, Arijit Singh.

Talking about the reason behind dropping only audio of the song, director Maneesh Sharma reveals, “Tiger and Zoya are on a much more personal and intense journey in this film, and Ruaan gives voice to that. The way it’s picturized in the film, we really wanted to keep such main story plots, the way they are meant to be experienced – in the cinema, in the moment.”

Holding an Arijit Singh sure-shot hit song is a gutsy decision by YRF because normally, one would put out such assets pre-release to garner maximum buzz.

Maneesh says, “Knowing that we have this soulful song sung by Arijit Singh, picturised on Salman Khan, and taking a decision to withhold it – it’s been tough! But we know that at the end, when you hear Ruaan in the context of the story you will know that we did the right thing! We feel it is a huge, huge moment and it will add to the excitement around Tiger 3 on release day.”

To note, with Tiger 3, Salman Khan and Arijit Singh have buried their hatchet. When he shared Leke Prabhu Ka Naam glimpse, he wrote, “Oh haan, yeh hai Arijit Singh ka pehla gaana mere liye”. If you are wondering why he said so, don’t worry as we have your back! In 2014, Salman Khan and Arijit Singh got into a fight during an award show. Now, after 9 years, Salman Khan and Arijit Singh have reconciled.

Tiger 3 cast and release date

The upcoming movie is helmed by director Maneesh Sharma. Salman and Katrina will reprise the role of Agent Avinash and Zoya. Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi will play the villain. The movie will hit the theatres on 12th November. It is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious YRF spy universe following the events of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan.

Looks like Salman Khan starrer is a surprise package and we definitely can’t wait to witness mass actioner of the year.
