Salman Khan breaks silence on Blackbuck poaching case verdict

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action dhamaka ‘Race 3’. Recently the team launched the trailer of the Remo D’Souza directorial. At the trailer launch Salman was asked about his ongoing Black Buck Case.

The 52-year-old actor was sentenced by the Jodhpur High Court to five years in jail for killing two endangered blackbucks in Rajasthan. He was released on bail and a bond of Rs 50,000 after spending two nights in the jail, much to the happiness of his fans.

Before his release, the industry was abuzz with the effect of the court verdict on the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Race 3’. Yesterday during the trailer launch, Salman was asked by journalist if he was concerned about the Jodhpur blackbuck verdict which came just after the last schedule of ‘Race 3’ where a huge amount of money was riding on him.(Also Read: Salman Khan condemns Kathua and Unnao rape cases)

But the journalist was soon reprimanded by the anchor who said no questions on the Jodhpur case and the Karnataka election will be entertained. The anchor even asked the journalist to return the microphone.

Salman counter-questioned the journalist and said, “Did you think I was going to go in forever?”

The journalist immediately replied “No”, to which Salman promptly said: “Thank you, because I was not worried.”

‘Race 3’ that is being co-produced by SKF and Tips also stars Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem. It is slated to release on June 15.
