Salman Khan’s bungalow’s caretaker arrested in 29-year-old robbery case

The caretaker of Salman Khan‘s Gorai-based bungalow was arrested on Wednesday in a 29-year-old robbery case. The accused identified as Shakti Siddheshwar Rana has been working for the superstar since the last 15 years.

As per an ANI report, the accused was wanted in almost three decades old robbery case. The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police arrested Rana on Wednesday and he will be produced before a Mumbai court tomorrow ie. on Thursday.

In 1990, Rana along with other two men had forcefully broken into a house, thrashed its residents and robbed them. Rana and the two men were arrested back then. But after receiving bail, Rana fled and never appeared for the case’s hearing. It was then when a non-bailable warrant was issued against the three.

Reportedly the accused later changed his identity and has been hiding for over the last three decades. The Crime Branch was able to nab him after receiving tip-off. Apparently, Rana has even confessed to his crime. He is 62-years-old now. Further probe in this matter is still underway.

We wonder how Salman must have reacted to this recent development.
