Bhairavi Vaidya is a renowned actress who has starred in movies like Salman Khan’s Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Taal, and many more. The actress has been working for the past 45 years and was last seen in the TV show Nima Denzongpa. Unfortunately, Bhairavi Vaidya passed away today at the age of 67.

Reportedly, the actress has been battling cancer for the past six months. Unfortunately, cancer turned out to be the reason for her death. Speaking with ETimes, her co-star Surabhi Das said, “I am really saddened to hear about the demise of our beloved Bhairavi Ji. May her soul rest in peace. We had a lovely time shooting with her, I still remember all the happy moments we shared on set. My prayers for the family.“
Apart from working in Hindi films and TV shows, the actress has also been a part of the Gujarati film industry. Apart from Taal and Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, she has also worked in films like Humraaz, Hera Pheri, What’s Your Rashee, Kya Dil Ne Kaha, and more.
Nishi Saxena played the role of Bhairavi’s granddaughter in the show. Speaking to the portal, she said, “Bhairavi ji was very close to me. It was such a shock when I came to know she was not in the world anymore. She played my dadi in my last show Nima Denzongpa. I remember how we used to book the same cab for Naigaon. Our shoot was there and we used to travel together. We had so much fun in the cab rides. It feels like yesterday that I went to her home in Ganpati and now she is not here with us.”
The actress gained a lot of recognition for her recent appearance in Nima Denzongpa. Moreover, she has also been a part of shows like Hasratein and Mahisagar.
