‘Dabangg 3’: Salman Khan pays tribute to late actor Vinod Khanna as he wraps up the shooting

Salman Khan will be returning as Chulbul Pandey in ‘Dabangg 3’. The actor will be donning the avatar of the fearless yet quirky cop for the third time and the fans are really excited about it. Recently the actor wrapped up the filming of the third installment of ‘Dabangg’ and he took to his Instagram handle to announce the wrap up while giving his respect to late actor Vinod Khanna.

If you have followed the ‘Dabangg’ franchise you will see Salman Khan’s character, Chulbul Pandey shares a very strong bond with his father Prajapati Pandey that was essayed by Vinod Khanna. Vinod Khanna passed away in 2017. Salman Khan took to his Twitter account to announce the wrap up of ‘Dabangg 3’ and paid his tribute to the veteran actor.  In the video, Salman Khan was seen along with his entire crew and director Prabhu Deva beside him.

He said, “So, aaj hamara Dabangg 3 ka last day tha. Hamara pack up ho chuka hai. Aur strange baat yeh hai ki, khushi ki baat yeh hai ki aaj hamare VK sir yani ke Vinod Khanna sir, unka aaj janamdin hai. So, hamare Prajapati Pandey sahab ka janamdin hai aur ussi din par hamara aaj, coincidentally and fortunately, hamari ‘Dabangg 3’ ki shooting ki pack up ho chuki hai. So, VK sir, we miss you, we all miss you. And we have Pramod sir (Pramod Khanna), your own brother, to play you in ‘Dabangg 3’. God bless you, VK sir. We really miss you.”

Apart from Salman Khan ‘Dabangg 3’ also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, and Kichcha Sudeepa among others.  The movie will hit the theatres on December 20, this year.
