Salman Khan stepped out to distribute meal packets to the frontline workers in Mumbai. During these extreme times of crisis, people across the society are doing their bits to help each other. And superstar Salman is doing his bit as well. In a viral video, Salman is seen monitoring and checking food supplies that he is sending to frontline workers.

Shiv Sena’s youth wing — Yuva Sena’s core committee member Rahul Kanal is also part of this noble work. He told ABP news, “Salman Khan interacted with all the people preparing breakfast for the frontline workers. Today, pav-bhaji was prepared for 5000 frontline workers at breakfast. After Salman Khan tasted the Bhaji, he told the people who prepared it that it was good in taste.”

Salman’s foundation ‘Being Human’ and ‘I Love Mumbai’ have joined hands in serving the frontline workers in the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in a food truck named ‘Being Haangryy’. They are going to different parts of Mumbai especially the containment zones and serving food to the frontline warriors. Salman was also present during the time of serving.

He also checked the various arrangements and tasted the food himself. The food which is being served to the frontline workers is prepared every day in a restaurant named ‘Bhaijaanz’ which is located at Bandra West. The Dabbang actor wanted to check the quality of the food. Salman reached the restaurant by car from his Galaxy Apartment and looked over the preparations.

This is not the first time Salman has taken initiative on behalf of the ‘Being Human’ Foundation. He has delivered food grains to nearly 2 lakh needy people during the lockdown last year. Not only this, but Salman also gave financial assistance of Rs 3000 to more than 25,000 daily workers, technicians and junior artists accordingly.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman will next be seen in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, the trailer of the film released last week. The trailer, incidentally, has Salman mouthing his popular dialogue from Wanted that goes, “Ek Baar jo maine commitment kar di, phir toh apne aap ki bhi nahin sunta”. Radhe will be released in theatres worldwide; adhering to the COVID protocol issued by the government; and on ZEE5 with ZEE’s pay per view service ZEEPlex which rests on India’s leading OTT platform ZEE5 and also on all leading DTH operators i.e. Dish, D2H, Tata Sky and Airtel Digital TV; giving audience multiple options to watch the film as per their comfort and convenience.
