On Sunday (14th April) morning, Salman Khan fans were all left in shock after two gunmen opened fire outside his Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments. On 16th April Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde met the actor and assured extra security and protection to the family. Now, Salim Khan has reacted to the incident once again and called those involved in firing on Salman as Jaahil (illiterate).

While addressing the incident, Salim was heard saying in Hindi to India Today, “What’s there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you).” Salim Khan further shared that Salman will continue his work normally as advised by the authorities and he cannot speak much about the incident as it is sub judice.”

He further revealed that the Maha CM has assured some extra protection. “We’ve been given extra police protection. They’ve (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they’ve arrested two people today, that means they’re on it”.
Two accused in Salman Khan firing case arrested
The two accused, who were allegedly involved in firing outside Salman Khan’s residence were apprehended from Bhuj district in Gujarat on 16th April. As per a recent ETimes report, the Mumbai Police has sought the custody of Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal for 14 days. The crime branch, in its remand note submitted to the court, said the duo opened fire outside Khan’s residence intending to kill him. The note said, “The two accused opened fire outside Salman Khan’s house in an attempt to kill the actor. Custodial interrogation is required to identify the mastermind and to also ascertain the motive.”
