Salman Khan firing incident: Another accused gets detained from Haryana

Another major development has been recorded in the gun-firing case at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s house. After two were arrested for a firing incident outside Galaxy Apartment, where Salman Khan resides, another person has been detained by Police. According to a PTI report, the suspect from Haryana was constantly in touch with the arrested accused.

According to the police officials, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta shared all the information with the suspect via internet calls. The person headed to Bhuj after the incident at Salman Khan’s house. Reportedly, he used to change the SIM card of the mobile used for communication. They have also observed that Pal and Gupta often used to switch off the phone to evade the police. But there were constant calls on the same number. As per the officials, the suspect has been tracked down and taken into custody. The suspect has been brought to Mumbai from Haryana for further investigation but he has not been arrested yet.

Another report mentioned that the Mumbai Crime Branch officials revealed the attack was done to scare him and not kill him. “The accused conducted a ‘recce’ of Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel. They intended to just scare him, not murder him,” an unidentified official of the Mumbai Crime Branch was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

Arbaaz Khan reacts to the gun-firing incident

Sharing an official statement on his Instagram, Arbaaz wrote, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place”.

At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support,” he added.
