Salman Khan gets calls threatening to kill him

Salman Khan the heartthrob of millions recently received a threat call. The anonymous caller has threatened to kill the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. On February 16 the Mumbai Police control room received two calls within a span of 15 hours. It was from an unidentified person who claimed that he will soon kill Salman Khan. Though the police suspected it to be a hoax call they decided not to take any chances and soon launched a probe.

Sources said, “The police have managed to trace the phone number from where the hoax call was made, but it has not identified the person as the call was made from a public phone. It was a PCO number from Marine Drive area. The PCO is situated near a furniture shop. They checked the CCTV footage situated in the same area but none of the CCTV covers the PCO so they could not trace the caller. The Police even called Salman and asked whether he received any threat call but he said that he has not received any threat calls so far.”

Sources further added that, “The calls were made from Marine Drive and Kurar police station area. The Mumbai police have decided not to take any chances and have increased the actors security.”

Salman Khan at present is busy with his upcoming film Sultan that is based on the life of a wrestler. The movie also stars Anushka Sharma in a pivotal role and will be releasing on Eid this year.
