Superstar Salman Khan’s security cover has been increased from X to Y+. The state government has increased the security of the actor amid looming death threats. The Protection branch of the Mumbai police took this decision after Salman Khan received a threat from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.

As reported by sources to Midday, the State Government has upgraded the security of the superstar to the Y+ category. He will have four armed security personnel protecting him at all times.
Not only Salman but even Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher have been given X-category security. They will have three security officers in shifts protecting them. The cost of the protection will be borne by the celebs themselves.
A few months back, the Mumbai police also issued a license for a personal weapon to Salman Khan after he made an application for the same.
For the unversed, Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan received a threatening letter. The letter warned them that they would end up like Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala who was murdered in Punjab earlier this year. Reportedly the gangsters attempted to attack Salman Khan twice, once outside his Bandra home and once at his Panvel farmhouse in 2018.
On the work front, Salma Khan will be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan costarring Pooja Hegde and Shehnaaz Gill. He also has Tiger 3 co-starring Katrina Kaif in his kitty.
