Salman Khan has not kept his promise to Kashmiri widow

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has gone back on his words, this shocking claim was made by Salman Khan’s adopted family in the valley. Salman Khan otherwise known as the man with a golden heart, had made headlines when he adopted Kashmiri widow and her family during the shoot of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir.

Salman Khan had adopted 75-year old lady, her 40-year old daughter and her four grandchildren. Salman Khan had offered financial support and also got a job for a grandson in the art department of Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s sets. Salman had even started work on the construction of their home too. But the moment he left the valley all help has been withdrawn.

The grandson Gowhar said, “I’ve tried to call his (Salman’s) bodyguard, Shera, several times. He never answers and sometimes his phone is out of reach. Before the release of the film, they would call us, but now they’ve stopped taking our calls. I’ve left my studies and I’m looking for odd jobs to support my family, still hoping that Salman Khan will keep his promise to us.”

Sources say that, Salman Khan has not gone back on his word. Since the grandson Gowhar is the only male child in the family, he needs to take up a job nearby. So they’ve requested a few people for a job in the valley. As far as the construction work goes, the work is still in progress and once the house is ready, they will send pictures of it to the media.
