The verdict on Salman Khan’s Hit and Run case is likely to be out today. The Bombay High Court had started dictating the judgement over the same three days back after the prosecution completed its argument. Prosecution blamed Salman Khan for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Today, the Bombay High Court is set to give the verdict whether Salman Khan would be convicted or not. But this verdict would only come out if the star is present the court. The lower court had charged Salman with the charge of Culpable Homicide not amounting to murder and sentenced him to five-year imprisonment. Salman had then challenged this judgement in the High Court.
According to the reports, The Bombay High Court has denied considering the statements of bodyguard Ravindra Patil who is prime and the only witness in this case. With this, the chances of the actor getting relief in this 13 long year case are highly increased. Apart from this, the court has also said that singer Kamaal Khan who was present in the car when this accident took place should also be examined.
Reports suggest that the star has already left his apartment to be present in the court for the hearing. The verdict is likely to come out in the afternoon.
