Amidst the pandemic, superstar Salman Khan, who is known for his charity work, has been using various platforms to spread awareness by advising people to stay home and practice social distancing or by engaging in making charitable gestures. Recently, he revived his food donation drive in Mumbai to help frontline workers and hospitals with food and water. His charity helped around 5000 frontline workers with essential needs and food. In Indore, about 180 blood plasma donations have been made by members of Salman’s fan clubs. The superstar also helped an 18-year-old student from Karnataka after his father succumbed to COVID-19.
Rahul S Kanal, the Yuva Sena leader who is working alongside Salman Khan, revealed to a daily that they have provided the student with ration and educational equipment. He also said that they will continue to help him and provide what is needed for his betterment.

Last year during the lockdown, Salman was stuck at his Panvel farmhouse with some of his family members and friends. During that time he made many videos in which he tried educating people about the novel coronavirus.
On the work front, Salman is awaiting the release of his film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The movie also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda. It is slated for a release on the occasion of Eid this month i.e on May 13.
