Salman Khan & Karan Johar to collaborate for an Eid 2024 release? Deets Inside

Salman Khan is gearing up for his Eid release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film is scheduled to release theatrically on April 21. It’s a significant moment as Khan makes a return with his Eid releases, after four years. Ahead of the release, a report about Salman’s next Eid release has surfaced. According to a report, Salman Khan is looking to collaborate with Karan Johar. The report suggested Salman and KJo will be collaborating for an Eid 2024 release.

Salman Khan to reunite with Karan Johar for Eid 2024 release

Salman Khan and Karan Johar worked together for the first time, in 1998. The actor featured in KJo’s directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He made a cameo appearance in the film. And, Salman played the role of Aman Mehra, Kajol’s fiance. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a source revealed Salman and KJo are collaborating on a big-budget film. The source mentioned how the project is in a nascent stage. In the report, the source revealed the details are under wraps.

The source in the report said, “Eid has been synonymous with Salman Khan since Wanted (2009). The Republic Day and Diwali slots have been taken over by some big films in 2024. But no one will dare to take up the Eid release date as it’s common knowledge that Salman Khan will come up with a film on the festival. At present, he’s looking for scripts and once it’s locked, he’ll soon take the film to floors.”

The source added, “Karan Johar is in talks with Salman Khan for a big-budget film. It’s in the nascent stage right now and all details about the script, director etc have been kept under wraps. Nevertheless, it’ll be interesting to see both coming together for a film after 25 years.”

In 2014, the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor confirmed he is collaborating with Karan Johar. They were to work together on a movie titled Shhuddhi, directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. The project was shelved.

Salman Khan, known for his Eid releases, starred in over nine movies, besides Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. And, these Eid releases of Bhaijaan proved a lucky charm for the actor, at the box office, too.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, besides Salman Khan. It features Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, and Palak Tiwari, too.

On the work front, the actor is to feature in Tiger 3, co-starring Katrina Kaif. The film will see Emraan Hashmi too.
