Salman Khan & Karan Johar to lock their leading lady by next month, the action-thriller to go on floors by December – deets inside

As per reports, Salman Khan and Karan Johar Johar are all set to collaborate for an untitled action-packed movie. The upcoming film will mark their second collaboration after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which was released 24 years ago. As per latest reports, Salman and Karan’s untitled film, directed by Vishnuvardhan, will go on floors in December this year. This is Vishnuvardhan’s second Hindi film after Siddharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah.

All about Salman and Karan’s action-thriller

The report further adds that the casting will begin next month. Earlier there were reports stating that the makers have approached Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Trisha Krishnan, and Anushka Shetty. However, the latest report hints that the makers are yet to start ‘conversations with actors’.

Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “There are two names that have been discussed internally, but those are not from the ones circulating in the media. Karan and Vishnuvardhan will start having conversations with actors for the action thriller set against the backdrop of Indian Army from October.”

Salman will be reportedly seen playing the role of a paramilitary officer. He will start shooting for the film in December. The actor is reportedly prepping hard for his role, going to gym etc.

The makers want to introduce a fresh pair on screen. So, it’ll be interesting to see which actress bags the role.

On the other hand, Salman was last seen in Kisi Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The family drama also starred Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, and Chiranjeevi. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan did well at the box office.

Salman will be next seen in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. A few days ago, he treated fans with new poster of Tiger 3 featuring him and Katrina Kaif. For the uninitiated, Shah Rukh Khan has a special cameo in Tiger 3. Salman had a special appearance as his character Tiger in SRK’s film Pathaan earlier this year. Undoubtedly, it’ll be interesting to see SRK and Salman Khan onscreen together again in Tiger 3. The makers are yet to reveal Tiger 3’s release date but it has been already announced that the film will release during Diwali this year.
