Superstar Salman Khan has dismissed reports of his contesting the April-May national election. He said he wouldn’t even campaign for any political party. This came after rumors of him preparing to contest general polls from Indore for the Congress. The actor was born in Indore’s Palasia area in 1965 and has spent a substantial part of his childhood there before moving to Mumbai.
The Dabangg Khan took to his Twitter handle and refuted the rumors and also denied campaigning for any political party.

Earlier Salman Khan had insisted his fans to cast their vote in the upcoming elections through a tweet. The tweet was a reply to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s request to remind the people of India to exercise their rights.

Well, this puts an end to the rumours of Salman contesting elections.
On the work front, Salman Khan will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’. The period drama also features Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Jackie Shroff and will be releasing on Eid this year.
He will next start work on ‘Dabangg 3’ that is one of the most awaited films of the superstar.
