If rumours are to go by, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is now in talks with actor Salman Khan to host the next season of their reality show, ’10 Ka Dum’.
And naturally, this will create rifts between Salman and Colors, which has Salman as its face and the host of ‘Bigg Boss’ for the last seven seasons. A source says to SpotboyE, “Sony has been wanting to revive ’10 Ka Dum’ since the last two years but this year they will do it at any cost.” (Also Read: Triple treat! And according to reports, Sony will also have to pay a price for it and offer him something that will be close to what Colors was paying him. And even though the timings of ’10 Ka Dum’ have not yet been decided, rumours have it that it might replace ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
“Kapil’s decline in popularity after his fracas with Sunil Grover on the flight from Australia (on March 16) is definitely one reason why Sony wants to do away with ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ for sometime at least,” adds the source.
Sony as a channel that dipped to No. 5 and now the channel is leaving no stone unturned to make sure they get their No. 3 slot back.
