Salman Khan mourns the demise of Dilip Kumar: Best actor Indian cinema has ever seen and will ever see

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away early on Wednesday (June 7) morning in Hinduja hospital, Khar, in Mumbai. He was 98. The actor was unwell for the past few days. From celebs to politicians to his fans, everyone is mourning the demise of the ‘Tragedy King’.

Actor Salman Khan took to his Twitter handle to condole the death of the legendary icon. He shared a throwback picture with Dilip saab and wrote, “Best actor indian cinema has ever seen and will ever see … #RIP Dilip Saab”.

From Salman, Shah Rukh to Aamir Khan, all the three Khans shared a great bond with Dilip Kumar. In 2011, on the Mughal-e-Azam’s actor’s 89th birthday Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, and Aamir Khan came together as they entered the birthday party of Dilip Kumar in style and still it is one of his memorable birthdays till date.

On June 30, Dilip Kumar was again admitted to the hospital. On Monday, Saira Banu informed fans that the actor’s health is improving and requested his fans for him so that he gets discharged from the hospital. She tweeted, “We are grateful for God’s infinite mercy on Dilip Sahib that his health is improving. We are still in hospital and request your prayers and duas so that Insha’Allah he is healthy and discharged soon. Saira Banu Khan.”

Dilip Kumar’s burial will take place at Juhu Qabrastan in Santacruz at 5 pm. He will be laid to rest with state honours.

As per reports, a doctor of the hospital said that Dilip Kumar had advanced prostate cancer and suffered kidney failure.
