During the trailer launch of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, actor Salman Khan asked Shehnaaz Gill to move in life. Though it was not clear then, a certain section of fans thought it was related to the late Sidharth Shukla. Now, during a recent conversation in Aap Ki Adalat, Salman Khan revealed what he meant by the ‘move on’ comment.
Salman Khan clarifies his ‘move on’ remark:
The Dabangg “I told her to move on. Sid ab iss duniya mein nahi rahe (Sid is not in this world anymore). I am sure he will also want Shehnaaz to move on. Ye nahi ki unki shaadi hojaye, bachche hojaye. (That doesn’t mean she should get married or have kids).”
Salman Khan said in connection to Sidharth Shukla:
Explaining in detail, Khan it was said a piece of advice for Shehnaaz to get out of the SidNaaz phase. He added, “Abhi nahi, bohot time hai. But to get out of that Sidnaaz, woh bohot hi heavy tha uske upar aur woh toot rahi thi bechari bachchi. Toh maine bola ki ‘move on’. Iska ye matlab nahi ki main bring it on, bring it on bol raha (Marriage and kids can happen later. But, it was a piece of advice for her to get out of the ‘Sidnaaz phase’. It was very difficult and she was breaking down. So, I told her to move on. But that doesn’t mean bring it on, bring it on.”
For the unversed, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill were said to be dating each other post Bigg Boss 13. Fans even coined a term called SidNaaz for them. However, after the BB13 winner Shukla passed away on September 2, 2021, Gill was devastated. She had cut herself off from the media for a month before making an appearance in the Punjabi movie Honsla Rakh.
