The ‘Dabangg’ star held nothing back as he spoke about Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan, the movies Salim-Javed wrote and lots more. During the media interaction, the ‘Sikandar’ actor commented on Manoj Kumar taking writing credit from the celebrated writing duo for Kranti. Read on to know what he shared.
Salman Khan on Manoj Kumar taking credit from Salim-Javed for Kranti
Talking about the late actor taking credit for the 1981 Indian historical drama Kranti, Salman Khan said, “Mr Manoj Kumar is taking away the credit from Salim-Javed. He has said that he has written it.” To this, Farhan replied that they would need to make a separate documentary on Manoj Kumar. In response, Javed Akhtar sarcastically said, “I think it’s very very honest of him that he has made this confession.”
Lastly, Salman added in Hindi, “It’s a fact. He says that I used to write and read it to them then they would pen it. So yes, he did write it.” Watch the video here:
