Rahul Roy is one of the well-known actors in Bollywood. Rahul made his debut with Mahesh Bhatt’s film Aashiqui and later went on to appear in many films and TV shows. In 2020, Rahul’s personal life made headlines. For the uninitiated, in 2020, Rahul suffered a brain stroke. At that time, he was shooting for LAC – Live the Battle in Kargil. The actor was immediately taken to Wockhardt Hospital, and later shifted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.
In a recent interview, Rahul recalled the difficult time and revealed that Salman Khan paid his pending hospital bills. The actor showered Salman Khan with praise.

Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, Rahul said, “The pending bill of the hospital was cleared by Salman (Khan) in February. He called and asked if he can be of any help and he helped. I am very thankful to him.”

Adding to that, Rahul’s sister Priyanka also thanked Salman Khan for his help. Furthermore, Priyanka also clarified that LAC – Live the Battle in Kargil’s director Nitin Kumar Gupta claimed to have helped them by proving the money but it was actually Rahul’s pending remuneration for the film. She added, “He (Salman Khan) had called him (Rahul) and asked if he can help with anything and he literally helped and the bill is cleared now.”
Priyanka went on to shower Salman Khan with praises. She said, “The most beautiful thing is Salman did not speak it in front of the media. This is called really being with a person. This touched my heart. This man is a gem.”
Adding to that, Rahul said, “Salman ke saath sab log boltein hai woh aisa hai, woh waisa hai (People think Salman is this and that), but for me, he is a good person.”
On the work front, Rahul was last seen in Kanu Behl’s Agra. For the uninitiated, Agra was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
Talking about Salman Khan, he has Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. Tiger 3 releases in the theatres during Diwali this year. The actor also has Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2.
