Salman Khan pays condolences to brother in law Aayush Sharma on his grandfather’s demise

This morning, actor Aayush Sharma released a statement on his social media informing that his grandfather, the former Union Minister Pandit Sukh Ram has passed away at the age of 94. And this evening, Salman Khan, brother-in-law to Aayush Sharma, paid his respects to Pandit Sukh Ram and wished for strength for their family to get through this tough time.

Salman Khan shared a heartfelt note on Instagram with a picture of the deceased grandfather of Aayush Sharma, writing, “Sending my heartfelt condolences to Ayush and his entire family on the loss of his grandfather Shri Sukhram Ji today. #RIP. (sic)”

Pandit Sukh Ram was a veteran Congress leader and a former Union Minister in the Indian government. He was the Union Minister of State, Communications from 1993 to 1996 and was elected in the Lok Sabha in 1984. He had served as a junior minister in the Rajiv Gandhi government. He was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on May 7, 2022 due to his deteriorating health and this morning he breathed his last.

This morning, while informing about his grandfather’s demise, Aayush had written in his statement, “With a very heavy heart I bid farewell to my beloved Dadaji Pandit Sukh Ram Sharma. Even though you’re gone, I know you’ll always be with me, guiding me, looking over me and blessing me like you always do. Rest in peace dadaji, you will be dearly missed. (sic)”

Two days ago, amongst the various reports about his grandfather’s health,  Aayush had also issued a statement in which he promised to give regular updates about his grandfather’s health. He wrote, “My grandfather Pandit Sukh Ram is a strong soul and is fighting back bravely. To all the reports and rumours, in this testing time for our entire family, I kindly request everyone to pray for his well-being and refrain from the media from paying heed to any false news. We would keep you updated and informed about his health at every step. Heartfelt gratitude for all the prayers. (sic)”  We pay our condolences to Aayush and his family in this tough time.
