Salman Khan made an emotional post on Thursday and mourned the death of his Sanam Bewafa director Saawan Kumar Tak. He shared a throwback photo with him. The actor in his post on Instagram said he loved and respected the late filmmaker a lot. Salman and Saawan Kumar Tak worked together in several movies during the 90s.
Taking to his Instagram, Salman Khan shared an unseen throwback photo of him with Saawan Kumar Tak. The photo shows the Tiger 3 actor posing with his Sanam Bewafa director. Khan mourned the death of Saawan Kumar Tak in the emotional post on Instagram.
Salman shared the photo with Kumar and wrote, “May u rest in peace my dear Sawaan ji. Have always loved n respected u.”

Bollywood filmmaker Saawan Kumar Tak passed away on August 25, in Mumbai. He was 86. The filmmaker suffered a heart attack and passed away due to multiple organ failure. Speaking with IndianExpress, his nephew Navin informed, “Sawan ji suffered a heart attack at around 4:15 pm today. He died of multiple organ failure. The funeral will be held today evening.” The late filmmaker was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on August 24.
Meanwhile, Salman worked with Saawan Kumar on several films. They collaborated for films like Sanam Bewafa and Saawan: The Love Season. Kumar’s last directorial was in 2006 with Salman, titled Saawan: The Love Season.
