Bollywood actor Salman Khan can finally take a sigh of relief, as he will no longer be required to take permission from the court every time he wants to travel abroad.
The sessions court, who is currently hearing the appeal against a five-year sentence to Salman in the Black Buck poaching case, on Wednesday has granted an application moved by the actor for the same.
Salman’s counsel Hastimal Saraswat quoted saying, “We had moved an application seeking permanent exemption for Khan from taking permission of the court every time he has to travel abroad. The court allowed the application.”
“He will have to keep the court informed of any such plans before leaving the country like the dates, the location and the stay,” he adds.
An application was moved by the defence, asking the court for modification in a condition that the actor will have to take permission every time he travels abroad. It was however withdrawn. The arguments and decisions on the appeal could not be taken place in the sessions court, due to lack of time. It will however take place on Thursday.
