Salman Khan calls veteran actress Mumtaz ‘the best’ as she dances to Aajkal Tere Mere Pyar Ke Charche

Bollywood actor Salman Khan is all praise for veteran actress Mumtaz. The superstar couldn’t help admiring the dancing skills of the yesteryear actress. Recently, Mumtaz appeared in a podcast on a music app. During the podcast, the 75-year-old danced to the song Aajkal Tere Mere Pyar Ke Charche from her film Brahmachari with Shammi Kapoor. For the unversed, the evergreen song was composed by music composer duo Shankar-Jaikishan and crooned by Mohd Rafi and Suman Kalyanpur. Mumtaz grooved with the host of the show.

Sharing the video clip of Mumtaz grooving to the iconic song, Salman wrote on Instagram, “It’s so amazing to see u dance mumtaz aunty. Love it , u r absolutely the best ….”

Mumtaz who was a successful Bollywood actress in the 1960s and 1970s worked in several films like Do Raaste, Khilona, Tere Mere Sapne, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Bandhan, Aadmi Aur Insaan, Apna Desh, Loafer, Chor Machaye Shor, Aap Ki Kasam, Prem Kahani and Nagin among others.

Salman also shared a throwback video of Akshay Kumar getting emotional. Sharing the video on his Instagram, the Dabangg actor wrote, “I just came across something that I thought that I must share with ev1. God bless you akki, truly amazing, felt so good seeing this. Keep fit, keep working n may god always be with you brother. @akshaykumar.”

Akshay shared Salman’s story on his Instagram, and wrote, “Really touched by your msg @beingsalmankhan. Bahot aacha laga. God bless you too. Shine on.”

On the work front, Salman Khan has two films in his kitty- Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3. He is currently hosting Bigg Boss 16.
