The shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming directorial ‘Bharat’, featuring superstar Salman Khan, has commenced.
Zafar, who has previously worked with the ‘Dabangg’ star in blockbusters like ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, tweeted on Sunday: “So here we are together again. ‘Bharat’ begins its shoot today. May God bless us – Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Dish Patani Sunil Grover.”

After seeing Zafar’s Instagram post, Katrina Kaif wished her friend luck by commenting on his photo. She wrote, ‘Congrats buddy.’

The film is an official adaptation of a 2014 South Korean film, ‘Ode To My Father’. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’sT-Seriess. ‘Bharat’ is slated for an Eid release in 2019.
The film also features Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani and comedian Sunil Grover in lead roles. The film marks Priyanka Chopra’s comeback in the Bollywood industry after 2 years. The actress was busy conquering the west while her fans waited for her Bollywood comeback. Apart from this project, she has Bollywood film Sonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ and two Hollywood films, ‘A Kid Like Jake’ and ‘Isn’t It Romantic’.
Coming to Salman Khan’s professional front, he will shoot for ‘Dabangg 3’ simultaneously with ‘Bharat’. The actor also has a dance film with Remo D’Souza and the second installment of ‘Kick’ franchise.
