Bollywood celebrities have been coming ahead in support of the nation during this second wave of Covid-19. Salman Khan has extended his help once again as he has decided to provide financial support to Bollywood workers like technicians, make-up artists, stuntmen and spotboys. The actor will be donating Rs 1500 each to 25,000 workers.

Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari told Etimes, “We have sent Salman Khan a list of names of the people in need and he has agreed to deposit the money.” He further added along with Salman, a list of 35,000 senior citizen workers has been sent to Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films who has agreed to help out these workers.

Yash Raj Films is said to be paying Rs 5000 and a monthly ration for all families of four. Salman and YRF will verify the list and later the money will be deposited. Meanwhile, Salman had recently distributed packets of food to the frontline workers through his initiative that he had started with Yuva Sena leader Rahul Kanal. They had arranged for almost 5,000 frontline workers like police personnel and health care workers.

Talking about Salman’s work front, he will be seen next in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will be releasing on May 13. Not just that, Salman Khan Films recently revealed that the production house will donate the earnings from the movie to Covid relief.
