Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been on high alert following multiple threats. It is reportedly set to import a second bulletproof vehicle to enhance its safety. His latest acquisition is a Nissan Patrol Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), renowned for its premium safety features, with a price tag of approximately ₹2 crore. Fresh threats were issued by the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to Salman Khan, as a precaution he brought a bulletproof Nissan SUV car.

This high-end SUV is equipped with advanced security measures, including explosive alert indicators, reinforced glass capable of withstanding direct gunfire, and camouflage black shades that obscure the identities of both the driver and passengers. It is powered by a robust 5.6-litre V8 petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission, and features a four-wheel-drive system for added security.
Since the Nissan SUV car was not available in India, Salman Khan had to import it from Dubai, incurring additional costs. This marks the second bulletproof vehicle he has brought from Dubai. The current situation highlights the seriousness of the threats he faces and his commitment to personal safety.
The decision to invest in this bulletproof SUV car comes in the wake of serious threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He has been targeting Salman Khan for quite some time. The animosity stems from a past incident in which Salman was convicted for the killing of a blackbuck, a deer considered sacred by the Bishnoi community. It was an incident reported during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1999.

The situation escalated when reports surfaced about Bishnoi’s gang being linked to violent crimes. Recent reports include the murder of politician Baba Siddique, who was close to Salman. As a result, his security measures have been significantly increased. And now Salman Khan travels exclusively in this bulletproof Nissan SUV car for added protection.
Salman purchased the Nissan Patrol SUV last year in April, making it a rare sight on Indian roads. With its advanced safety specifications tailored for high-risk situations, the SUV reflects the actor’s serious concerns for his safety. Reports suggest that Bishnoi continues to operate from prison, having reportedly enlisted about 60 henchmen to execute his orders. It includes a stated intention to kill Salman Khan. This has further intensified the actor’s need for robust security measures.
