Salman Khan – Ranveer Singh’s statement regarding ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is just a gimmick

Bollywood brat Ranveer Singh is known for his over the top behaviour. The actor who has wrapped up his upcoming magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is now busy promoting the historical romance. The film was imagined by Bhansali with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead, but the plans were unable to take wings due to the very famous break up between the lovebirds.

Salman Khan at a recent promotional event had admitted that, ‘I feel unfortunate to not be part of Bajirao Mastani.I have seen the promo of it (Bajirao Mastani) …it has been done on a large scale. I think all three – Ranveer, Priyanka and Deepika are amazing.”

On his part Ranveer Singh during the launch of the fisrt poster of Bajirao Mastani had stated, “I know Salman Sir was supposed to play Bajirao, but I have worked really hard for the film and I hope I can make him proud.”

On being informed about Ranveer’s comments, Salman was heard quoting in his candid manner that, “It was just a promotional gimmick, Just something more to talk about during promotions…one more question for the PR team to tell the journalist to ask…”

‘Bajirao Mastani’ is set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Dilwale’ on December 18.
