The court had dismissed an application from the actor’s counsel last time to re-examine the then collector Rajat Mishra. Salman is said to have used an illegal weapon to hunt down two black bucks on October 1 and 2, 1998, at Kankani village. Reports suggest that if found guilty, Salman could also face 3 to 5 years of imprisonment. ANI tweeted about the same:

The incident took place 18 years ago in 1998 when Salman was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s “Hum Saath Saath Hai.”
