Salman Khan rejects a 7 crore offer opposite Katrina Kaif

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has recently rejected a Rs. 7 crore offer, to star opposite ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif in a commercial. Where Katrina Kaif was quite happy to give her nod to star with Salman once again, the Dabangg Khan was not too happy with the idea of starring with Katrina Kaif, even for an advertisement.

Salman Khan is still quite protective of Katrina Kaif, he has always stood for Katrina Kaif even after their break-up, so what could be the reason for his denying the offer? Katrina Kaif, on her part has been very much a part of the functions held in the Khan household. At Arpita’s wedding Salman Khan had even pulled Katrina’s leg, that she could have chosen to be his wife and she instead opted for Ranbir Kapoor.

It seem that the protective Khan had a reason to say no. Salman Khan was once heard saying that, “She used to be a friend, but today she is somebody else’s friend. I respect that and I stay away because I don’t want to give someone a reason to tell her, ‘Oh you are still in touch with Salman.’ The past should not intrude in the present.”

Apparently Katrina Kaif was the first choice for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan’, but things did not materialize due to Salman Khan’s firm ‘No’ to star with her. Salman Khan asked the director for Katrina Kaif to be replaced with another heroine.
