As per sources, Salman Khan has stated that he is not opposed to act in the remakes of South Indian films. He had done a lot of South remakes in the recent years. His ‘Wanted’, ‘Ready’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Jai Ho’ and his forthcoming ‘Kick’ are the remakes of successful movies made in South. So the actor is likely to give a nod for the project. Jacqueline Fernandes has been finalized to play the role played by Tamannah in the Tamil version.

Veeram is the story of four brothers, in which Ajith plays the role of elder brother, who is caring and protective of his younger brothers.
