Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya to reunite for a family drama, deets inside

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have delivered a number of hit flicks, from the actor’s all-time hit film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, to ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ to their last venture together ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, their each and every movie has went on to become a blockbuster. Now as per a report in Mid-Day Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya are all set to reunite once again.

Rumours abounded that the duo is coming together for an action film, but Sooraj has refuted them and said, “I have discussed the primary idea with Salman. It’s going to be a family drama and not an action film. All I can say is that it will have all the necessary ingredients that a Rajshri production has — emotions, drama and a lot of music. It is going to be my most satisfying film. But right now, I am concentrating on my younger son Avnish’s career; he will make his directorial debut soon.”

He further added that he will pen the script after March, and hopefully, the movie should roll by next year.

On the work front, Salman Khan is at present busy with Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial ‘Bharat’. The story of the film is based on a Korean Hit flick ‘Ode To My Father’. The movie will see Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reuniting on screen once again after ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. ‘Bharat’ is Salman and Zafar’s third collaboration after ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, and ‘Sultan’.
