Salman Khan reveals Farrey was made for OTT, here’s why it is releasing in theatres

Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Farrey. After the captivating poster and intriguing teaser, makers unveiled the teaser of Farrey where the Khan family was present to support Alizeh. Her doting Mamu Salman Khan was overwhelmed at the trailer launch of Farrey and had a piece of special advice for niece Alizeh Agnihotri. He also revealed that the movie was supposed to premiere on OTT but what made them choose theatrical release.

During the trailer launch, the actor shared that the film was earlier supposed to be released on OTT, but they eventually opted for theatrical release. Salman revealed, “This was supposed to be an OTT film but it was so good that it would have been wasted on OTT. So, we went for theatrical.” Talking about Farrey, he stated why the film is a must-watch and said, “These types of film are not being made anymore, so I urge commoners to watch this film, especially students.”

Salman also shared why he does not like to see himself on screen. He stated, “I still don’t like to see myself on screen. They don’t do justice to me. I am often told you look better in person.”

Salman’s advice to niece Alizeh

The actor also had special advice for his darling niece as she is marking her debut. He advised her, “Be subtle, give your best, don’t overact.”

The movie revolves around how students choose means to cheat during exams but eventually get caught. Apart from Alizeh, it stars Sahil Mehta, Zeyn Shaw, Prasanna Bisht, Ronit Bose Roy, and Juhi Babbar Soni in pivotal roles. Directed by Soumendra Padhi, it is set to release on 24th November.
