Salman Khan sends his condolences to Akshay Kumar after his mother’s demise

Akshay Kumar and his family have met with an unfortunate turn of events as the actor’s mother Aruna Bhatia passed away today morning. Arun was admitted to the ICU of Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital after her health took a turn for the worse. But unfortunately, Akshay Kumar’s mother could not survive and she took her last breath this morning. Condolences and prayers poured in from all over the nation including Bollywood celebrities as well. Akshay’s Mujhse Shaadi Karoge co-star Salman Khan also sent his condolences to Akshay.

Salman Khan took to his Twitter and sending his prayers to Akshay and his family he wrote, “Dear Akki, very sad to hear of the passing of your mother. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to you and your entire family ..@akshaykumar(sic)”

Akshay had penned down a heart-breaking note after his mother’s death. He took to his Twitter and wrote, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti ??(sic)”

Aruna Bhatia’s lats rites and funeral took place in Vile Parle. Bollywood celebs and Akshay’s friends Riteish Deshmukh, Rohit Shetty, Sajid Khan, Ramesh Taurani, R Balki and others were seen arriving.
