Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, was released in theatres on August 11. Fans are ecstatic about the sequel’s release after a gap of 22 years. The first installment, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, had captured the hearts of the audience back then, and now, the second part of the saga is undeniably making significant box office numbers.

Recently, reports indicated that the film’s collection has reached around Rs. 35 – 40 crores so far, although we’re eagerly awaiting the official figures. Notably, Salman Khan, our beloved Bhaijaan, is also lending his support to his friend Sunny Deol for Gadar 2. He took to Instagram to congratulate Paaji on the remarkable box office opening of Gadar 2.

In a time when Bollywood was facing challenges in achieving substantial box office earnings, it appears that a fortunate period has arrived. Gadar 2 has certainly proven that it boasts a dedicated fan base. Notably, the film’s appeal extends not only to industry insiders but also to outsiders who have eagerly anticipated its release.

Salman Khan, acknowledging the film’s success and his friend Sunny Deol’s achievement, shared a post on his social media platform. Bollywood Bubble gave Gadar 2, 1.5 out of 5 stars. A part of the review read, “Sunny Deol is the only saving grace in this movie I feel. He delivers a seeti-maar performance in Gadar 2. At the age of 66, Sunny Deol flawlessly does his action sequences and that’s worth watching on the big screens.”

Meanwhile, OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar, also released on the same day. The battle at the box office between Gadar 2 and OMG 2 is ongoing, and only time will reveal which film will come out victorious in this clash.
