Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya’s reunion project Prem Ki Shaadi has a MAJOR update- Report

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya is all set to reunite once again. The duo have given us a number of blockbuster hits such as Maine Pyaar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun..’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’. They are all set to collaborate for a mega-family drama once again.

Salman Khan last collaborated with Rajshri banners for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015. The movie also featured Sonam Kapoor as the female lead. The Dabangg Khan will once again reprise his iconic character of Prem for his next collab with Sooraj Barjatya.

As reported by sources to Pinkvilla, “Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have been discussing Prem Ki Shaadi for a while now and the film is now in the stage of hitting the floors this year. Salman and Sooraj are looking to start Prem Ki Shaadi in November/December 2023. With the film, Sooraj plans to celebrate love in the backdrop of nuclear families and is among the most special subjects that he has developed till date.”

Sources further added, Prem Ki Shaadi will be targeting a Diwali 2024 release. Sooraj Barjatya will get into the process of locking the female lead and key ensemble cast of Prem Ki Shaadi in a couple of months. The movie reportedly revolves around the life of a married couple with strong family elements.

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. It will release on 21st April on the occasion of Eid. He also has Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif in his kitty.
