Salman Khan : Sooraj is my heroine, Athiya is the hero

Salman Khan has mentored and launched many newcomers, from Sonakshi Sinha to Sneha Ullal to Arjun Kapoor. Salman Khan has now launched Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi with ‘Hero‘.

At the trailer launch of the film, Sooraj went up to the stage with his co-star Athiya Shetty, as Salman Khan introduced him as his ‘Hero’. Sooraj promptly burst into tears on which Salman said, “Sorry, Sooraj is my heroine, Athiya is the hero.”

Salman Khan who was at his wittiest best at the event said, “I have advised Sooraj – “Don’t act much, learn dance and wear good jeans and boots.”

He also confessed that he sees a lot of himself in Sooraj and reminisced about his debut film. “It was a confusing time. I didn’t know if ‘Biwi Ho Toh Aisi’ would do well or flop. God has been very kind to me, and it’s He who’s given me this thought to spread all the love that people gave me when I was coming in.”

Then, shaking off the nostalgia he said, “One Sooraj (Barjatya) has supported me all my life, I can support another Sooraj for a few months.”

Well, Salman’s emotional side and funny side are what make him adorable and loved.
